Trangia Stove 27 – 5UL The Trangia principle is simple but incredibly effective. The pan is held at the optimum distance over the spirit burner inside a windshield. The windshield protects the burner from the wind but ensures it’s well ventilated. All the heat is directed upwards to the pan so little energy is wasted. SERIES 27 Series 27 offers good stoves for the lone walker or two people. The pans are smaller and the kettle is sized accordingly. A small, compact stove that takes up minimal room within the rucksack. Here too, large billies may also be placed at the raised supports within the upper windshield.
